To become a member of the Coalition, one must:
- Accede to the basic principles set forth in the By-Laws of the Coalition.
- Participate within her or his ability in the Coalition's activities.
- Pay the membership fee of $5 (for a lifetime membership) adopted at the first Annual General Meeting.
The makeup of the Coalition is a reflection of the diversity of women in New Brunswick society.
There are two categories of members:
- Member organizations: a member mandated by an association or a group dedicated to the advancement of women's rights or interested by the issue of pay equity.
- Individual member: any person who supports the mission of the Coalition.
Each member has the right to vote at General Meetings, can participate in regional meetings and can be elected to the Executive Committee or to the Board of Directors.
Specifics:
- An organization cannot send more than one organizational member to the General Meeting.
- Voting at the Annual General Meetings is restricted to one vote per member, whether that person is an organizational or individual member.
- Membership fee is the same for both categories of members.
In order to join the Coalition, you simply have to fill the form below. You can either submit it and pay on line OR mail it with a 5 $ cheque to the order of the NB Coalition for Pay Equity, to the following address: 51, Williams Street, NB E1A 5N2.
